My name is Azhar Serikkkaliyeva, I graduated from China Studies Department of the Faculty of Oriental Studies in Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in 2008. I completed master education in 2010 by presenting master thesis namely ‘Chinese strategy of peaceful rising and current Sino-Kazakh relations ’. In 2013, I successfully defended his Ph.D dissertation titled “Social and economic activity of China at the SCO” at Eurasian National University. I am specializing in China-Kazakhstan relations research and developing the Chinese Studies in Kazakhstan by teaching sinology at the Kazakhstan’s leading university.

Today the established cooperation between China and Kazakhstan reached the strategic partnership level. Also, the two neighboring countries are partners in the international large-scale projects as the the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and the One Belt, One Road.
